The multifaceted, magnificent Valliammal Education Trust was founded in 1968 by Prof. A.M. Paramasivanandam, an eminent Educationist, Philanthropist and a prolific writer with an objective of impairing quality education to the common people. The Prestigious Valliammal College for Women was instituted in the year 1987 with the conventional courses such as B.Sc. Math’s, B.Sc. Chemistry, Computer Science and Commerce. It is permanently affiliated to university of madras and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
