Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College, an institution of academic excellence, was established in the year 1997-1998. Started with a cherished desire to serve the cause of humanity through higher education. This college has been affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Serkadu, Vellore-632 115 and has been recognized by the Government of TamilNadu. It is a Co-Educational Arts college offering Ten Under Graduate courses and Four Post Graduate courses and two M.Phil., Research courses.

NDUSTRIAL VISIT BY Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College
On 27 January 2024, the students of Dr. M.G.R. Chockalingam Arts College participated in an industrial visit aimed at enhancing their academic learning with real-time industry exposure. This visit offered students a valuable opportunity to witness practical work environments, industry processes, and day-to-day professional operations outside the classroom.
The students explored different functional areas within the industry, observed workflows, and interacted with professionals who shared insights into real-world applications of academic concepts. This experience helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, giving students a clearer understanding of how their studies align with professional careers.
The industrial visit also contributed to students’ personal and professional growth by improving their communication skills, building confidence, and broadening their perspectives on the current job market and workplace expectations.
