Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, is a leading self-financing Engineering College started on 17^th October 1984 in the presence of Ms.& Mr.Gunter Von Schlenk, Ms. & Mr.Erwin Flohrer from M/s. Carl Schlenk A G and Dr.S.Krishnaswamy, the then Vice Chancellor, Madurai Kamaraj University.Shri Sv.K.M.Ramalingam, Sri.A.Tenzing and Dr.S.Arivazhagan serve as the President, Correspondent and Principal of the college respectively.The College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University from Chenni with Permanent Affiliation for 14 out of 17 Programmes. Seven UG Programmes and 4 PG Programmes are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi under Tier I Category. Also our College is accredited with A Grade for a period of 5 years from February 2021 by National Assessment and accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. Our college has been granted Autonomous Status by UGC, New Delhi & Anna University, Chennai from the academic year 2013-14 and Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in true sense, Fast Track Scheme to undertake internship cum project during 8th semester, special courses by industry / Academic experts from India and abroad are introduced.
