Aadhaar<\/strong> may be a national card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI<\/strong>). Many Indians now have an Aadhaar card and you’ll use it to verify your identity while getting a replacement SIM card, gas connection, or maybe to form payments.<\/strong> Your Aadhaar data includes biometric information like a retina scan and fingerprint scans too, so it\u2019s a commonly used method of authentication. rather than filling up long forms for everything that needs a legitimate photo ID, you’ll use your Aadhaar card and authenticate via biometrics<\/strong> or a one-time password sent to your phone. If you\u2019re worried that your Aadhaar data might be misused,<\/strong> you’ll also lock Aadhaar biometric data online.<\/strong> you’ll also check when your Aadhaar data was used for authentication. Just follow these steps.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to UIDAI\u2019s Aadhaar Authentication History page.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Enter your Aadhaar number and therefore the captcha within the image.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Generate OTP.<\/strong> You\u2019ll get a one-time password via SMS on your phone. just in case you haven\u2019t done it already, here\u2019s the way to verify your telephone number with UIDAI.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. On subsequent page, UIDAI allows you to filter the search by specific authentication request types like biometric, demographic, and so on. The page even allows you to pick the date range \u2014 you’ll see authentication requests up to 6 months before the present date. the ultimate field is that the OTP.   5. Now you\u2019ll be ready to see an in depth list of Aadhaar authentication requests. This shows you the date, time, and sort of authentication request. However, it doesn’t show what company or agency used your Aadhaar data for authentication.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
