Equipment were put through extensive harbour and sea trials to achieve full combat capability. The refit to MCGS Huravee is an initiative by the Indian Navy to further Indian Navy’s diplomatic outreach to friendly foreign navies in the Indian Ocean Region. The refit was completed on 14th November 2018. During the refit, major repairs were done on the ship’s hull, main propulsion and auxiliaries.
