ABOUT \u2013 DLR Arts and Science College<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The DLR group of institutions<\/strong> grew from the vision of philanthropist Mr. D.L. Ravi<\/strong>, who founded the Sri Matha Bhuvaneshwari Educational Trust<\/strong> in 2009. It began as a women’s institute\u2014Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi Women\u2019s Teacher Training Institute of Elementary Education (D.T.Ed)<\/strong> and Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi Women\u2019s College of Education<\/strong>\u2014and expanded to include co-educational higher learning with the establishment of DLR Arts and Science College<\/strong> in 2017.<\/p>\n

Affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore<\/strong>, and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu<\/strong>, the college was created to make higher education accessible to both boys and girls<\/strong>. It is located in Thathiravadi Village<\/strong>, Arcot, in Ranipet District<\/strong>, between the culturally significant towns of Arcot<\/strong> and Arni<\/strong>. THE INDUSTRIAL VISIT<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The DLR Arts and Science College Industrial Visit<\/strong>, held on 15 September 2023<\/strong>, was organized to give students hands-on exposure to industry environments and bridge the gap between theory and practice.
